Japan Day 19: Going Home

Today was our last day in Japan. We woke up early and went to Starbucks to pick up our last Starbucks mug: the Tokyo one. Then we walked to a place that specialized in udon in Roppongi for our last restaurant meal in Japan.

We had to cross through specific sides of the streets because we weren’t allowed to be on some. I think it was because they were government buildings. The officers were counting us, and communicating with each other using walkie talkies and stuff. The restaurant was located on the third floor of a massive empty complex.

There was also a statue and small park located in the mall. Then we waited for the udon place to open. All the restaurants were actually closed, so we walked back to the hotel and hung out there for a bit, and then walked back to the restaurant when it opened.

Then it opened and we had soooo much food, the portions were massive.

Then we walked back to the hotel.

We got back to the hotel and relaxed for a bit before we packed up for the last time in Japan.

Goodbye, intercontinental!!

We got our luggage, and then we went to the bottom floor to call an uber or taxi to wait. We still had a few hours before our flight, and luckily so. When we checked, Ubers and taxis both were over $200 to get to the airport. So, as the sun was setting, we dragged our suitcases to the train station to catch our flight.
